The Dedication of Lewis & Clark Heritage Trail Interpretive Signage - Fort Belle Fontaine Historic Site

2000, Randy Bollinger 2000, Randy Bollinger On Saturday, 23 September 2000 at 2 O'clock in the afternoon The Dedication of Lewis & Clark Heritage Trail Interpretive Signage took place at the Fort Belle Fontaine Historic Site in Fort Belle Fontaine County Park near the grounds of the Missouri Hills Division of Youth Services at 13290 Bellefontaine Road, St.Louis, Mo. The event was sponcered by The Fort Belle Fontaine Historical Society, The St.Louis County Department of Parks and Recreation, and The National Park Service National Historic Trails.

Kite Aerial Photography was also on hand to record the event and was acomplished with use of a 7ft. Red,White and Blue Rok. More information about the event and the site can be found at http://www.st-louiscountyparks.com

Mark your calenders, in 2004 a National event will be takeing place across the U.S.A. from Fort Belle Fontanine, the starting point of the Lewis & Clark Trail to the west cost and at just about every point along the Historic Trail. Its going to be a big event with lots of KAP opportunity along the way.(see web site)
