COMPETITION RULES AND PROCEDURE

AKA members in attendance at the convention will vote on their favorite aerial images, and a trophy or plaque will be given for the image with the most votes.

1. Photographs submitted must have been taken by the contestant.

2. Photographs submitted must have been made by lifting a camera with a kite.

3. The photographer must be a member in good standing of AKA at the time of the convention.

4. Up to three images may be submitted by the photographer.

5. Images that have received awards in any other competition are not eligible.

6. Images must be submitted as prints, mounted on matte board. There are no size limitations, but keep in mind that display space will be limited, and/or may be horizontal, e.g., flat on a table.

7. An information sheet not to exceed 5.5” x 8.5” must accompany each submission, containing image title, photographer’s name and address, image location, month and year image was taken, medium (digital or film), make of camera and kite, and brief description of any manipulation of the finished image.

Mail entries must be received not later than September 23, 2005, and must include return postage and a label if you wish to have them returned by mail.
